MIRPURKHAS, Aug 22: About 200 patients of gastroenteritis were admitted to different government hospitals in the district on Tuesday. They were brought to basic health units, rural health

centres, taluka and civil hospitals.

Some of them were identified as Rukhsana, Ashique Ali, Jan Mohammed, Jairam, Eshrat, Fatima, Mohsin, Pir Bux, Akbar, Abdul Hameed, Naban, Fazal Khan, Kewal, Dino, Hameed, Pervez and Leela.

An announcement was made on behalf of the TMA Mirpurkhas at different places advising people to use boiled water.

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Several people suffering from gastroenteritis were admitted in Kandiaro, Naushahro Feroze and Moro hospitals on Monday and Tuesday.

Khamiso Chang, his wife Naimat, another woman Zubeda and her son Abdul Raheem of village Sobho Chang, near Halani, told reporters that they went to Halani hospital on Monday night for treatment but no doctor was available there.

Later, they went to the Kandiaro taluka hospital.

SNATCHED: Five armed men snatched a motorcycle, Rs15,000 and a mobile set from Wazir Kalhoro on the Kandiaro-Tharushah link road on Tuesday.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.
