Financial help offered to SMEs

RAWALPINDI, Aug 21: Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Business Support Fund will provide financial assistance to two or three- year-old SMEs in consultancy cadre. This was stated by SME Business Support Fund Chief Executive Officer David Monkman during a meeting with Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Jalil Ahmed Malik here on Monday.

The CEO said the assistance subjected to only those SMEs whose turnover was less than Rs300 million and their employees strength less than 250. The financial assistance will be in the shape of grant and will be 50 per cent of the actual cost.
