KARACHI: Book fair begins at NED

KARACHI, Feb 11: A two-day book fair commenced at the NED University of Engineering and Technology on Monday.

Vice chancellor Abul Kalam inaugurated the book fair in which about 31 publishers and booksellers are taking part, offering a discount of up to 20 per cent.

The exhibits included books on almost all disciplines of engineering sciences, besides general books, English and Urdu fiction, and publications on Islamic Studies and computers etc.

Some computer firms have also set up their stalls at the book fair.

The event has been organized by the central library and the student affairs office of the university.—APP
