LAHORE, Aug 12: Partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm/rain has been forecast for the city during the next 24 hours.

According to the Met office, a seasonal low lies over Balochistan while Fridays’ monsoon low over Uttar Pradesh has moved westwards and lies over southern Rajasthan on Saturday.

The monsoon low over North Bay of Bengal off north Orissa coast persists and is well marked on Saturday.

This weather pattern is likely to cause thunderstorm/rain in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala and Lahore divisions, while partly cloudy weather has been forecast for Faisalabad division and dry weather for Bahawalpur Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan divisions.—APP
