LAHORE, Aug 11: The city traffic police on Friday decided to depute 1,735 officials for an Independence Day public meeting at Minar-i-Pakistan on Aug 13.
The decision was made at a meeting chaired by SP Waseem Khan, who said that officials would be supervised by 22 DSPs and 60 inspectors.
He said that about 20 mobile squads would also patrol around the meeting place to keep traffic flow smooth. — Staff Reporter
