Calamity-hit

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 10: The areas affected more than 50 per cent by floods will be declared calamity-hit Punjab Finance Minister Sardar Husnain Bahadur Dareshak said this on Thursday while talking to newsmen after attending the matric result declaration ceremony here.

He added that recovery of water rate could be postponed in the areas at watercourses’ tails where water did not reach. Water rate could also be waived off in such areas, he added. — APP
