KARACHI: MoU with Kuwait signed

KARACHI, Aug 5: The city government on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Kuwait for making investment in the city.

DCO Karachi Fazlur Rehman and Kuwaiti consul-general, in the presence of Sindh governor and city nazim, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides.

Kuwait will make investments in Karachi through a Kuwaiti company Al-Wir in the construction of a hotel, mega shopping mall and infrastructure development.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ibad felicitated the city nazim for signing of this MoU.

City Nazim Mustafa Kamal said that signing of the MoU would entail a long-term partnership in various projects.

The ceremony was also attended by the consul-generals of Saudi Arabia and Oman.—APP
