GUJRAT, Aug 3: Three family members and their driver were killed when Sialkot Express hit a car at an unmanned level-crossing at Dalla Rajadi, some 40kms from here on Thursday evening.

The driver of the car (LRZ-8405) misjudged the speed of the 172 Down train, heading towards Sialkot from Rawalpindi, and tried to hurriedly cross over the level-crossing. The vehicle was just in the middle of the track when the speeding train smashed into it, killing all the occupants instantly. Those died were identified as Ikram, his wife Tanseela, Arif and driver Muhammad Arif. The family was going to Dalla Rajadi from Lalamusa.

Lalamusa Sadar police rushed to the spot, but so far no case was registered till the filing of this report.
