KARACHI, Aug 3: Three ships carrying containers and diesel oil were berthed at QICT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, another container ship arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy stood at 67 per cent as eight ships, Sealand Mariner, ACX Marguerite, CMA CGM Nilgai, Nedlloyd Muscat, Precious, Adrekni and Yong Xiang-9 and Al-Maqwa, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, sugar and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 77,237 tons comprising 67,180 tons of import and 10,057 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Sealand Mariner and ACX Marguerite left the port while CMA CGM Nilgai was due to depart.
