Two crushed to death

LAHORE, Aug 2: Two friends were crushed to death by a tractor-trolley here on Sarfraz Rafiqi Road in the wee hours of Wednesday.

Police said that Asim (25) and his friend Asif (26) of Shalimar Town were going home on a motorbike after meeting their friend at Cavalry Ground. They were on Sarfraz Rafiqi Road when a rickshaw knocked them down. In the meanwhile, a tractor-trolley coming from the other side crushed them under its tyres. They died on the spot.

The tractor driver fled.—APP
