KARACHI: TSC-II results declared

KARACHI, Aug 2: The Sindh Board of Technical Education on Wednesday announced the result of Technical School Certificate Part-II (Class X) Annual Examination 2006.

Syeda Wajiha Iqbal of Little Children Technical High School got the first position with 88.43 per cent marks, Faisal Ahmed of New City Technical High School stood second with 85.30 per cent marks while Dure Shahwar Afroz of DMR Technical High School was declared third with 84.78 per cent marks.

A total of 2,330 candidates were registered with the Sindh Board of Technical Education. Among 2,323 appeared in the exam, 1,326 were declared successful. The total pass percentage remained 57.08 per cent.

Out of 1,326 successful candidates, 13 obtained A-1 grade, 144 got A-grade, 399 got B-grade, 236 got C-grade and only four students were placed in D-grade. Results of 530 candidates have been held for want of registration or non-submission of 9th class marks sheet with the examination forms.—PPI
