US President Donald Trump’s claim that he plans to stop providing billions of dollars in assistance annually to Israel shows he is “desperate to stave off a Blue tsunami”, Al Jazeera reports citing Congressman Ro Khanna.

“Thank you for showing us the way,” he adds, tagging Democrats who have criticised Israel such as Bernie Sanders and Zohran Mamdani.
