BEIJING: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has resumed its flight operations between Pakistan and China with the first flight operating on Oct 30, reconnecting Islamabad and Beijing through direct air services.

The resumption marks a significant milestone in strengthening aviation links between the two countries and reflects PIAs commitment to restoring and maintaining regular operations in the Chinese market.

Under the renewed schedule, PIA will operate weekly flights between Islamabad and Beijing every Friday, providing passengers with a direct and convenient travel option between the two capitals. The airline also aims to offer competitive fares while ensuring consistent and reliable services.

In a major step towards expanding its network across China, PIA has strengthened its cooperation with three leading Chinese airlines — Air China, Shenzhen Airlines and Hainan Airlines.

Through its partnership with Air China, passengers will benefit from onward connections to various domestic destinations through Beijing, a major aviation hub.
