Oil prices have fallen, paring the gains from a day earlier, as hopes for peace talks between the US and Iran take the edge off renewed concerns over Middle East supply disruptions from an escalating regional conflict, Reuters reports.

Brent crude futures are down $1.59, or 1.38 per cent, to $113.73 a barrel as of 1545 GMT (8:45pm PKY). US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures are down $2.09, or 2.03pc, at $100.69.
