ISLAMABAD: Spain’s world-renowned IE University celebrated its official debut in Pakistan with an exclusive IE Community Night on Friday.

Marking the institution’s first formal event in the country, the gathering convened parliamentarians, prominent public officials, top business executives, and educational leaders alongside local alumni.

According to the organisers, IE consistently ranked among the top 10 universities globally, with its flagship business school placed among the top business schools worldwide by the Financial Times and QS World University Rankings. Organisers said IE University was recognised internationally for its focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

The event highlighted IE’s growing commitment to expanding its global footprint and fostering strategic academic and economic partnerships within South Asia. The milestone evening served as a dynamic platform for cross-sector dialogue, bringing together key decision-makers and thought leaders to explore collaborative opportunities in executive education, institutional partnerships, and global leadership development.

“Bringing IE University’s vibrant global community to Pakistan for the first time marks an extraordinary milestone,” said one of the organisers.
