The commander of Iran’s ground forces has ordered all unit commanders to remain at the highest level of combat readiness, Al Jazeera reports citing Iranian state media.

Ali Jahanshahi warned that any negligence in a wartime situation could “entail heavy costs” and that readiness is being maintained through continuous training, assessment of operational capabilities and coordination with other units, according to broadcaster IRIB.
