LAHORE, July 30: The Imamia Student Organisation (ISO) on Sunday took out a huge rally to condemn Israeli aggression against Lebanon.

A large number of rallyists, including women and children, holding banners and placards inscribed with pro-Hizbollah and anti-Israel slogans, marched on Lower Mall, making it the largest protest held in the city against Israel for many years.

‘Down with America’ and `Down with Israel’ were some of the slogans the participants kept on chanting. They also torched the US and Israli flags.

The ISO leadership spoke to the rallyists, pledging their support to Lebanon and demanding the world leaders should take notice of the atrocities against the Muslims.

Qazi: Jamaat-i-Islami amir Qazi Hussain Ahmad on Sunday condemned the Israeli massacre in Qana (south Lebanon).

In his message to JI chief in Lebanon Sheikh Faisal Maulvi and secretary-general Hizbullah Syed Hasan Nasrullah, he said Israeli war crime in Lebanon was the result of US political and military patronage of Israel, and all was being done under the supervision of Condoleeza Rice.
