Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has met with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, according to state broadcaster Press TV, with the latter stressing national unity and the need for more joint efforts by the government and parliament to address economic issues.
Ayatollah Khamenei has also called on both institutions to “work towards advancing affairs related with Iran’s strategic partners”.
