KARACHI: Bail granted

KARACHI, July 28: The Sindh High Court on Friday granted bail to revenue official of district east in corruption case.

Abdul Majeed with other revenue officials are facing charges of corruption and illegal transfer of 10 acres government land to private persons.

Applicants' counsel Mehmood A Qureshi two co-accused in named in the case were already granted bail by the court besides the lawsuit for possession of land in question was also pending in court. He said question of disputed land documents has to be decided.

SHC's single bench, comprising Justice Yasmeen Abbasi after hearing the case, granted bail to applicant on surety of Rs5,00,000.—PPI
