Woman among six killed in Swat incidents

SWAT: Five people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents of firing in Swat, while another man died after suffering an electric shock on Saturday.

In Mian Baba area of Saidu Sharif, a property dispute between two parties led to an exchange of fire, in which Bakht Roma, wife of Khadi Rahman, and two men from the other side including Ismail and his son Ishtesham were killed.

Saidu Sharif police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, Sahil Khan, a young man who was injured in firing in College Colony a day earlier, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

On Kalam Road, 40-year-old Umar Ali, a resident of Kokarai, was shot dead at Mingora Chowk.

In Kabal, 32-year-old labourer Shamsher Ali, a resident of Kokarai, died after suffering an electric shock while working at a marble factory.
