Iran’s Fars News Agency reports that following British Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s claims that Iran was involved in attempted sabotage at the RAF Fairford airbase, the British ambassador to Iran has been summoned by the foreign ministry in Tehran.
“The ambassador of that country in Tehran was summoned to the foreign ministry and Iran’s strong protest regarding this destructive approach of the UK government was conveyed to him,” Fars reports.
