Balochistan CM Bugti calls for joint efforts to tackle malnutrition

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Wednesday called for stronger coordination with the World Food Programme (WFP) to tackle malnutrition and improve food security, particularly for women and children.

He made the remarks during a meeting with WFP Pakistan Country Director Anita Hirsh, during which the two sides reviewed ongoing projects, the food security situation in the province and future areas of cooperation.

The discussions focused on making joint efforts more effective for expanding WFP-supported initiatives in Balochistan.
