LAHORE: The special polio vaccination campaign was launched across Punjab on Monday, with children under five being vaccinated in 13 districts.

The campaign was formally inaugurated at the Nawaz Sharif Centre for Excellence, with the participation of international partners and representatives of the Girl Guides, including teachers and young leaders.

Speaking at the inauguration, Chief Minister’s Focal Person for Polio Uzma Kardar said the primary objective of the campaign was to ensure that every eligible child was reached with the polio vaccine. She urged parents to ensure that all children under five receive polio drops during every campaign.
