KARACHI, July 24: Woman is like a backbone of any society and as such for women acquiring education is more necessary than men.

These views were expressed by Qari Abdul Haleem, Mufti Mohammad Naeem, Maulana Azizur Rehman and Maulana Masood Baig.

They were speaking at a function held at the Binoria University International, SITE where Asnad were awarded to girl students on completion of different level of religious courses in the girls section.

In all a total of 78 girl students were awarded Asnads while three girls Bint Abdul Salam, Bint Rafiullah and Bint Tamaz were given special certificates of merit for second and third position in the examinations of Wafaq Madarisul Arbia. Bint Wasil Khan, Bint Abdul Quadir and Bint Mohammad Islam were awarded gold medals.
