ISLAMABAD: Four-day polio vaccination will target over 400,000 children during the campaign starting from September 21.

The capital administration on Thursday said a meeting of the District Polio Eradication Committee, chaired by the deputy commissioner of Islamabad, was held, in which detailed preparations and arrangements for the special polio campaign of September 2026 were reviewed.

The special polio campaign in Islamabad will continue from September 21 to 24.

All 80 union councils of the capital have been included in the polio campaign. A detailed review of the performance of the previous polio campaign and areas with challenges was also examined in the meeting.
