ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) has informed consumers that they can register their complaints in seven languages.

Moreover, it has claimed that the helpline service has been playing an important role in providing consumers with prompt, convenient, and effective resolution of electricity-related complaints and issues.

“Through 118, Iesco provides consumers with the facility to register complaints regarding power outages, technical faults, transformers, voltage-related issues, new connections, and other electricity-related matters. Consumers can also register their complaints through SMS by sending a message to 8118,” the spokesperson said.

Chief Executive Iesco Ch Khalid Mahmood said that the service was not merely a complaint number but an integral part of a consumer-friendly, fast, and modern customer service system.

“The service enables consumers to register their complaints from the comfort of their homes instead of visiting Iesco offices, “ he said.
