HYDERABAD, July 21: A landlord from Mohammad Khan Zounr village of the Badin district has accused his rivals of registering a false kidnapping case against him and eight others.

He claimed that he served the people of the area and even gave plots free of cost for welfare schemes.

He said that the rivals did not like his welfare work and had filed a false kidnapping case against him and eight others on June 21.

He said that not a single criminal case against him had ever been registered at any police station.

He appealed to Tando Allahyar District Nazim Raheela Magsi, MPA Dr Irfan Gul Magsi and other provincial authorities to order an impartial inquiry into the kidnapping case registered at the Chambar police station and take legal action against those who had filed the case.

Ali Bux Zounr, Inayat Ali Zounr and Nazeer Ahmed Zounr were present on the occasion.

ALLIGATIONS REJECTED: Representative of Sajjada Nasheen of the Shah Latif shrine has condemned the character assassination of Khalifa and chief fakir Ali Dino Tamrani, what he said, by some vested interests.

He said that allegations levelled against him were absolutely false and baseless.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club here on Friday, Latifi Jamat president Mazhar Ali Shah alias Nazan Saeen, who is also the younger brother and representative of Sajjada Nasheen, Nisar Hussain Shah, said that false allegations against Fakir Ali Dino Tamrani had hurt feelings of millions of followers of Shah Latif.

He said that he had been authorised by Sajjada Nasheen to condemn the character assassination of Fakir Ali Dino by Ali Yawar alias Gada Hussain Shah.

He said that all antiques of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai were safe and were in the custody of Sajjada Nasheen.

He said that the antiques of Tamrani Khalifa were also safe with the chief Fakir as were Dambooro and Ganj Sharif of Shah Latif.

He said that three wells around the shrine had been closed under the orders of Sajjada Nasheen as they were posing threat to zaireen whereas the personal well of Shah Bhittai was quite safe and had been kept open for zaireen.

Nazan Saeen said that Shah Latif had given big Otaq to his first Khalifa, Tamar Faqir-I, which was open for zaireen and more rooms were being constructed there for visitors.

He said that no land of Otaq had been sold out nor had any one authority to dispose of the land.

He said that detailed inquiry had been conducted by him into the allegations which were found absolutely false and baseless.

Nazan Saeen said that the chief Fakir was held in high esteem by disciples of Shah Latif as well as Sajjada Nasheen and no one had the right to level baseless allegations against him.
