HYDERABAD, July 21: Activists of PPP-SB on Friday held a march from Hyder chowk to the local press club in protest against wanton attacks by Israel on innocent people of Lebanon and Palestine.

They carried party flags, banners and placards. They raised slogans against the Zionist regime.

Speaking on the occasion, the provincial president of the party, Meenhan Khan Rind, general secretary Younus Bhan, advocate Peeral Majidano and others said that Israel was an international terrorist.

They regretted that the world community was witnessing the massacre of innocent people of Lebanon and Palestine as silent spectator.

They called upon the UNO to take notice of the air strikes on Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Islami Jamiat-i-Tuleba observed a protest day and held rallies outside different city mosques and the Hyderabad press club to condemn Israeli bombardment on Lebanon and Palestine.

They also set ablaze the American flag. Policemen present outside the press club tried to stop the angry youth from torching the flag but in vain.

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Activists of the PPP-SB and its youth wing took out a rally in Kandiaro on Friday against Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the Palestine.

The protesters were led by Rahim Khoso and Zafar Khoso.

The protesters condemned the attack by Israel on Lebanon and the Palestine and demanded of the United Nations and other countries to intervene into the matter.

SHIKARPUR: Activists of the PPP-SB observed a black day here on Friday to protest against Israeli armed forces’ attacks on Lebanon and the Palestine.

The protesters wore black armbands. The rally was led by PPP-SB district president, Amir Bux Bhutto.

The protesters while marching on city roads reached at the Lakhi Gate Tower Chowk where they staged a demonstration. Amir Bux Bhutto, Faqir Mohammad Soomro, Nizamuddin Bhutto, Mir Ahmed Brohi, Qazi Fayaz, Maqsood Mirani, Syed Ghulam Hussain Shah and others spoke on the occasion.

MMA: On the call of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, protest day was observed here on Friday to protest against the failure of police to arrest the culprits involved in the murder of Sindh MMA vice president Allama Hassan Turabi and his nephew. The rally started from the central Imam Bargah after Juma prayers.

The rally was led by Jamaat-i-Islami city Amir Maulana Sadaruddin Mahar, Maulana Allah Warayo Channa and Buland Ali Shah of the Shia Ulema Council. The protesters while marching on main roads reached at the Lakhi Gate Tower Chowk where they staged a demonstration.
