Heatstroke leaves three dead

VEHARI, July 20: Three people died of heat on Thursday. Riaz and Akram died in Thingi area and Muhammad Bakhsh in Chak 26/wb.

Meanwhile, the district and its surrounding areas remained in the grip of a severe heat on Thursday, forcing the majority of people to remain indoors.

Doctors have advised the people to increase water and other liquid intake, wear cotton clothes and avoid eating over- or under-ripe fruits.
