US Central Command (Centcom) says that as part of the military’s “steel wall blockade” of Iranian ports, 64 vessels have been redirected, three have been disabled and two have been boarded.
The centre must say clearly how long it intends it to last, what it hopes to achieve in that time, and how the province’s elected mandate will be restored.
