Eid Miladun Nabi on Aug 26

ISLAMABAD: The Rabiul Awwal moon was not sighted on Thursday and Eid Miladun Nabi (Peace be upon him) will be celebrated on Aug 26 (Wednesday), according to an announcement by the Ruet-i-Hilal Committee.

Rabiul Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar, will begin on Saturday (Aug 15).

The announcement was made following a meeting in Islamabad. It was presided over by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the committee’s chairman.
