In the accident, Amjad Ali, Muhammad Anis and Faryad Hussain were seriously injured. The injured were also shifted to the Narowal DHQ Hospital.

Citizens have raised concern over the increasing accidents due to one-wheeling in the city. They said that young people riding motorcycles could be seen performing one-wheelies on the Circular Road, DHQ Hospital Road, Shakargarh Road, University Road and other major roads in the city. They said that these youngsters were putting their lives as well as those of other road users at risk by performing stunts on the busiest roads of the city.

District Traffic Officer Javed Iqbal said that four FIRs had been registered for one-wheelies. He said that plainclothes officers were being deployed to catch the youth performing dangerous stunts on roads.
