KARACHI: Lahore will host the ACTIVIT Jashn-e-Azadi Cycling Race on Thursday to celebrate Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day.
According to the organisers, the race will commence from the Punjab Stadium, with around 50 male and female cyclists racing towards the finish point at the UGI Head Office on Wahdat Road.
A closing ceremony of the event is scheduled at the UGI Head Office Auditorium Hall.
The organisers describe the initiative as celebrating values shared by sport and independence — determination, resilience, unity and the courage to keep moving forward.
