LARKANA: Proposals to expand the Peoples Bus Service across Larkana and Qambar-Shahdadkot districts, alongside launching new development initiatives under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode, were reviewed during a high-level meeting on Monday.

Larkana Deputy Commissioner Tariq Manzoor Chandio met with Sindh Secretary Transport and PPP Unit Director General Asad Zaman to discuss urban mobility and municipal development. PPP Unit Director Abeer Jumani also attended the meeting and presented proposals regarding potential private-sector investment opportunities in Larkana.

The DC noted that the Peoples Bus Service currently operates on the Larkana–Dokri route, and proposed extending the service to other major urban centres, including Ratodero, Naudero and towns across the Qambar-Shahdadkot district.
