Rain in central Punjab

LAHORE: Rainfall was recorded in several districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.

Khushab and Gujranwala received 64mm rain each, followed by Joharabad with 58mm and Sargodha with 57mm. Chiniot received 33mm of rain, while 29mm was recorded in Narowal and 20mm in Mandi Bahauddin.

Rainfall was also recorded in Okara (18mm), Sheikhupura (15mm), Hafizabad (12mm) and Faisalabad (10mm).

The rainfall comes amid an-ongoing monsoon spell, with the PDMA reporting low flood conditions in the river Indus at Kalabagh and Chashma.
