KARACHI, July 18: Seven ships carrying coal, containers and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where half a dozen ships were berthed. They are: Jungsan, Beluga Emotion, to unload general cargo, Johar to offload crude oil, Maersk Advance, to unload chemicals, Oel Patriot and Placid Sea, to unload and load containers.

Six vessels, Corin Thaikos, Wan Hai-308, Kota Parmai, Shalamar, Mastro Giogia-2 and Jungsan sailed out on Tuesday, while Tai Harmony, Beuga Emotion, Maersk Alabama, and Johar are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 99,154 tons comprising 17,370 tons of export cargo and 81,784 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesdy: Swat, with crude oil, Hyundai Stride, Pac Antalia and Thor Captain, with containers, Renee and Serife, with coal.
