KARACHI, July 17: Sindh Minister for education and literacy Dr Hamida Khuhro on Monday expressed satisfaction over the permission granted to Humanities Group students to participate in the summer camp and also lauded the efforts of chairman of Inter-Board Committee Islamabad.

Speaking at Bahria Auditorium at an inaugural ceremony of the Seventh Summer Camp for Talented Boy Students here, she urged the students to concentrate on their studies.

She said literacy rate in Pakistan was less than what was required, adding it was appreciable that our education standard was, internationally, acceptable.

Dr Hamida Khuhro further said this summer camp would prove helpful to students to know the history of Pakistan. She said during this camp, they could share their views. She said they would return with memories of historic places of Sindh.

The chairman of education boards and others were also present.—PPI
