LAHORE: The Punjab Board of Revenue (BoR) has notified directions to digitise 42 more mauzas in the province.

Commenting on the digitisation drive by the Punjab government, BoR Secretary Shafqatullah Mushtaq said that the digitisation of land records would allow citizens to access services such as fard, mutation, registry and land record verification in a faster, more transparent and digital manner.

BoR Senior Member Nabeel Javed stated that the board was pushing digital reforms to provide modern, secure and citizen-friendly land services. He said more mauzas across Punjab were being digitised in phases to improve service delivery and ensure accuracy and transparency in land records.

The notification issued in this regard said that the mauzas include: one each from Bahawalpur city, Multan city, Mian Channu, Mailsi, Vehari, Lahore Saddar, Model Town, Shalamar Town, Ravi Town, Tandliawala, Renala Khurd, Wazirabad, Pasrur, Kunjah, Mankera and Mandi Bahauddin; two each from Lahore city, Wahga Town, Nishtar Town, Kabirwala, Dunyapur, Faisalabad Saddar, Chiniot; five from Sadiqabad; and seven from Multan Saddar.
