TOBA TEK SINGH: A man allegedly gave poison to his three minor daughters and also took his own life after a quarrel with his family over monetary issues in Faisalabad on Thursday night.

As per reports, the man died while his daughters were shifted to the hospital.

The deceased was identified as Azhar Ali (35), a resident of Gulshan Rahim Town, and his daughters as Dua Zahra (12), Areej (9) and Eshal Fatima (6).

His family sources said that he had a dispute with his wife. They added that the condition of his daughters was stated to be stable.

ARREST: A Faisalabad FIA team conducted a raid in Chiniot on Friday and arrested one Hunzala Tariq for operating an illegal travel agency and his involvement in human smuggling.

A press release claimed that the accused and his accomplices had collected millions from citizens on false promises of sending them to Dubai and Saudi Arabia for jobs. It added that the team took 19 passports,14 CNICs, four cheque books, fake visa rubber stamps, three mobile phones and bank transaction receipts into custody from his office as evidence. It said that raids were underway to arrest his accomplices.

Another FIA team raided different passport offices in Faisalabad and arrested five agents allegedly involved in extorting money from passport seekers. They were identified as Husnain Tariq, Muhammad Waqas, Muhammad Arman, Muhammad Younis and Muhammad Zulfiqar.

ROOF COLLAPSE: A man died after the roof of a building caved in in Mouza Sher Khan Wala Khu in Kabirwala tehsil of Khanewal district on Friday.

Rescuers removed the debris and found him dead. He was identified as Nazir Ahmad (28).

Meanwhile, three persons were critically wounded after the roof of a welding workshop caved in near the Watto Chowk on Okara Road in Tandlianwala.

The injured, including Muhammad Ahmad (14), Mazhar Iqbal (40) and Ghulam Abbas (52), were shifted to the Tandlianwala THQ Hospital.
