Four killed in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, July 13: Four Hindus were killed before dawn on Thursday by suspected militants in held Kashmir, the latest in a regular stream of attacks on civilians in the restive region, police said.

“Suspected militants fired into two houses in Poonch district killing four and injuring two others,” a police spokesman said in Srinagar.

Two sisters and two brothers from separate families were killed, he said, adding that a search for those behing the murders had been launched.—AFP
