Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty has stressed the need to maintain momentum to fulfil the conditions of the recently signed memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran, Al Jazeera reports.

Abdelatty says this is essential to consolidate de-escalation between the two sides, and to ensure regional security and stability.

The Egyptian foreign minister has made the remarks during a meeting with the EU’s commissioner for the Mediterranean, Dubravka Suica, in Cairo.
