BAHAWALPUR: A defaulter along with his family allegedly assaulted a revenue recovery team of Dunyapur tehsil at Chah Barmala.
The revenue team went to recover arrears of abiana from defaulter, Imam Bakhsh Khwaja. As the team, led by tehsildar Hamza Haider, demanded government dues, Imam Bakhsh Khwaja along with his wife, Naeema Bibi, and two unidentified persons attacked the team with clubs, bricks and other material and torn away their uniforms.
Dunyapur city police on the complaint of tehsildar registered a case.
