Wall collapse claims lives of two siblings in Attock

TAXILA: Two teenage brothers lost their lives while three other children sustained injuries after a dilapidated wall collapsed during heavy rainfall in Dhoke Balam, near Bota village in Attock on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as 17-year-old Ali Raza and his 14-year-old brother Abdul.

According to initial reports, five children were playing near the wall when it suddenly collapsed, burying them under the rubble.

The three injured children were identified as Majid Ali, 10, Hasan Ali 13and Usama, 15. They were rescued and shifted to hospital for treatment.

On receiving the emergency alert, Rescue 1122 Attock teams rushed to the scene and launched a swift rescue operation. Rescue personnel removed the trapped children from the collapsed structure, provided first aid to the injured, and shifted both the deceased and injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Attock.
