Woman shot dead

SWABI, July 11: A woman was killed and six people were injured in two separate incidents here on Tuesday. The wife of Sher Aman said in an FIR that she and her sister were going to Rashakai village when their opponents — Yaqub Khan and Mir Rehman — opened fire on them. As a result her sister died on the spot while she suffered injuries.

The cause of the incident was stated to be an old enmity.

In a road accident, five people were injured when a flying coach and a truck collided on Swabi-Mardan road.

The Swabi-bound flying coach collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on Swabi-Mardan road.

Mohammad Jamil, Attaur Rehman, Nisar Mohammad, Abdullah and Farooz Shah were injured and were admitted to DHQ hospital Swabi.
