PESHAWAR, July 11: A universal wheat enrichment project is under way in 29 districts in the country with assistance of the Canadian International Development Agency to reduce iron deficiency among children and women.
“A pilot project has been launched in Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda and Kohat, which will be extended to the whole of the country by 2013,” an official said. The project, ‘Enriching food and enriching lives’, has been launched by Cida and the Micronutrient Initiative.
