Property dispute claims four lives in Bannu

BANNU: Four persons of a family were killed in a shooting incident over a property dispute in the Domel area of Bannu district late Saturday night, rescue sources said.

The incident occurred in the Odeen Kallay area.

According to Rescue 1122, the shooting claimed the lives of a man and his two sons, and another person, who was their close relative.

Rescue 1122 medical teams reached the scene immediately upon receiving the report and transported the bodies to the Domel Rural Health Centre.

Sources said the incident stemmed from a property dispute.

According to Rescue 1122, the late-night shooting claimed the lives of Umar Nawaz, his two sons, Matiullah and Farmanullah, and Umair.

The Domel police have launched an investigation into the incident and have registered a case against two accused, Hukam Daraz and his son, Mohammad Hamood, on the complaint of Fareedullah, father of the deceased, Umair.
