HYDERABAD, Feb 9: The managing director, Oxford university press, Karachi, Amina Syed, and sales and marketing manager, Furqan Saeed Khan, here on Saturday visited the Sindhi Language Authority (SLA) and met with its chairman, Professor Dr Mohammad Qasim Bughio.

They discussed the possibility of collaboration between the two organizations about various literary and other schemes relating to the development of Sindhi language.

Ms Amina Syed offered cooperation in the preparation of Sindhi-English and English-Sindhi dictionaries.

She also offered to display their books at the Qaleech Book House of the SLA on payment of commission. The syllabus books of schools and colleges as well as other books would also be provided for the Qaleech Book House.

The Pakistan National Language Authority, Pakistan Academy of Letters, Sindh Culture Department, Shah Latif Chair, Karachi, Shaikh Ayaz Chair and Sachhal Chair, Khairpur, Institute of Sindhology, Urdu Science Board and other educational and literary organizations have also provided their books to the SLA.
