Narab Club win

PESHAWAR, July 8: Narab Club, Kohat, beat Khattak Club, Duaba, 3-2 in an exciting match in the Kohat Region Inter-club volleyball championship which commenced at Kohat STC Ground on Saturday.

In the championship, 14 clubs affiliated with the Kohat District Volleyball Association are taking part.

Narab Club, led by Riaz Khan and Daulat Khan, won the opening two sets 25-19, 25-20. However, their opponents fought back to level by claiming the following two sets 20-25, 21-25. Finally Narab Club won fifth and decisive set 17-15.

In other matches, Mushtaq Club defeated Ishfaq Club 3-0, Akhbar Club thrashed Khawan Club 3-0 and Al-Hiwad Club outclassed Bangash Club 3-1.—APP
