KHAIRPUR, July 8: Sindh People’s Party president Syed Qaim Ali Shah has alleged that the provincial government has no practical role in development works.

The provincial government, he said, was being run through press statements and media. However, he claimed that with the help of the charter of democracy, the actual democracy would be restored in country.

The PPP leader said the charter was an important document being an agreement between two big parties against the military dictatorship and martial law.

Addressing public gatherings during his visit to Babarloi, village Hayat Shaikh, here on Saturday, he said the government had given a package of unemployment, price hike and worsening law and order situation.
