HYDERABAD, July 8: The executive engineer of the Nasir irrigation division has announced rotation programme for the division.

According to the schedule, the channel of Nasir branch system Tando Soomro-I distributary, Tando Allahyar-I distributary, Bulghari distributary, Landhi-I and II minor, Bijar minor, Tando Ghulam Ali distributary, Pir Sakhi-I and II minor, Wagherji distributary, Chango minor, Basran-II minor, Sangi minor, Jarkas distributary and DO 0 to 90 Nasir Branch shall remain closed upto July 14.

He said that the same canal could be reopened at any time in case the improvement in the water supply in the Rohri canal.

ADMISSION: The University of Sindh has announced schedule for admission to KG-I in Sindhi and English medium and class VIth in English, Sindhi and Urdu medium at University’s Dr N.A. Baloch Model School.

According to a notification issued by university registrar, Dr Saeed Soomro, here on Saturday, the admission forms for registration will be issued to candidates from August 1, while the last date for submission of forms at the office of principal has been fixed as August, 17.

Written and oral test of candidates will be conducted on August 21, and results will be announced on August 23.

Admission fee will be paid by selected candidates up to August 30, while regular classes will commence from September, 1.

The university has also notified new admission policy for admission to various classes at Dr. N.A. Baloch Model School of the University.
